Who are we?
TeamOGP is a Men’s Basketball team that will be playing in Arkansas basketball leagues and will travel to play in some out of state leagues/tournaments as well. We will play in money leagues/tournaments in which each player on the team will receive a cut from the winnings and my personal cut of the winnings will be donated directly into TheOGProject to help with funding giveaways, feedings, etc. I started this team in honor of my late Grandparents Odell and Georgia Pickett (TheOGProject) who were known to give their shirts off of their backs to anyone in need without hesitation!! Ever since I've picked up a basketball, I knew I could be different. Not just on the court but off the court as well. Giving back is something I've always been passionate about and now that I can do that and still get to do what I love to do is amazing, and I feel like it is going to better the community in a major way! Making hilarious and entertaining content is one of the main goals for the VentureWithUS channel along with giving back to the community.. Reaching the community
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion for the game of basketball. I started a basketball league for all ages, genders and races. The league will be aimed for bringing the community together and picking the ball up and putting the guns down while also making some money and enjoying the sport of basketball. The CheckUp basketball league will give many players opportunities to showcase their game and skill on a platform while still being able to put money in their pockets, ultimately being a WIN for the community. The league has no set location each location will be different (unless we choose to double back to the same location) discovering talent across each city and each state the bigger we get is the main goal.
